Our building was the office building for the lumber factory next door called CA Smith Lumber Company. They were one of the largest in the state and built their factory in 1892. The office was built with a Queen Anne style and features a round “castle turret,” two original fireplaces, 12’ ceilings and a bank vault room.

The

space

Main Room

Where the magic happens! The main room is about 1300 square feet with 12’ ceilings and south and west-facing windows. We particularly love the massive fireplace and twinkle lights in the ceiling. The space can hold 80 people for a seated event or 100 standing.

Hair + Makeup room

We keep our hair/makeup bar stocked with any emergency necessities and have plenty of room for every primping tool and mirror selfies as you wait. Help yourself to a sparkling water or a cup of coffee too!

Getting ready / Boudoir room

Feel like you’re royalty dressing in a castle turret in our getting ready room! Also known as our boudoir room for photo shoots, this 375 sq ft space features a queen-sized bed tucked into the round corner, west and north-facing windows, a clawfoot tub, an enormous chandelier and another original fireplace.

All catering and alcohol service is welcome. Any alcohol served must be served by our licensed bartenders. We have a list of preferred vendors but you are welcome to use your own. We will vet each vendor to verify their license and insurance and schedule a customized walkthrough with them prior to your event.

High speed wifi, 50 ft hardwire internet connection, projector, 12-channel PA system with two speakers & three microphones

Technology

You’re welcome to use any of our studio furniture with any event. Event rental furniture (ie dinner tables and ceremony chairs) is an added expense but we’ll handle the logistics and prep with our furniture vendor.

Pets

We’re located on the first floor on our building but have five stairs leading up to both entrance doors. We’re hoping to install a ramp in spring of 2024. Load in is available in both our side door and front entrance.

Accessibility

We don’t require them but highly recommend one to help make your day go smoothly! We provide a day-of coordinator to be the main communication between all vendors and you throughout your event.
