Forging and Mixing: blacksmithing and cocktail class collaboration

Looking for a memorable way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Or a chance to put a little spark into your spring? 
Look no further than our Forging & Mixing class — a dual workshop experience that combines blacksmithing and the basics of cocktail making in a fun, approachable environment. 
We'll start off at IAMA's blacksmithing shop at 4430 Lyndale Ave N Minneapolis, where you'll each be introduced to forging basics and will get to forge your own metal project to take home. After you've worked up a sweat, you're invited next door to The Arthouse event venue to cool off with Jovial Cocktail Co. You'll learn the science behind mixology, try out shaken vs stirred, and create your own custom cocktails or mocktails.

Lazy Scorsese is a rock band from Minneapolis that combines elements of psychedelia, funk, pop, & folk to create lush soundscapes centered around themes of love, interconnectedness, seeking truth, counter-culture, & the daily musings seen from the vantage point of Lazy Scorsese

League Two is a Minneapolis indie band notable for their dramatized performances and distinct art rock sound.
